Precision Line Tracking for High-Speed Robotics
The TCRT5000L 5-Channel Tracking Sensor Module is a high-performance infrared sensor array designed specifically for fast line-following and grid-navigating robots. By utilizing five individual infrared emitter and receiver pairs, this module provides a much higher resolution than single or dual-channel sensors, allowing your robot to detect curves and intersections with extreme accuracy.
Built for Speed and Reliability
Each of the five channels on this module uses the highly reliable TCRT5000L infrared reflective sensor. The emitters continuously send out infrared rays; when they hit a reflective surface (like a white line), the rays bounce back to the receiver, triggering a signal. The array is pre-aligned with 15mm spacing between each sensor, providing a wide detection field that is perfect for maintaining center-line stability even at high speeds.
Seamless Microcontroller Integration
Designed for the modern maker, this module is fully compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other TTL-logic microcontrollers. Each channel has its own dedicated digital output, so you can connect them directly to your controller's digital I/O pins. The board also features an onboard power LED and individual status LEDs for each of the five sensors, making calibration and debugging incredibly simple.
Key Highlights:
5-Channel High Resolution: Superior path correction compared to standard 3-channel arrays.
Easy Mounting: Features multiple 3mm mounting holes for secure attachment to any robot chassis.
Clean Signal Output: Integrated voltage comparators ensure a crisp digital signal for the microcontroller.
Anti-Interference Design: Optimized for low noise and stable performance under varying indoor lighting.
