Product Description The KW11-3Z Micro Switch is a high-precision snap-action switch designed for detection and limit-sensing applications. Equipped with a Roller Lever, it is specifically engineered to reduce friction when a moving part (like a 3D printer carriage or CNC gantry) triggers the switch. This switch is a staple component for the maintenance team at Robogears Pvt Ltd, serving as a reliable "Endstop" to prevent mechanical over-travel. Its 3-pin SPDT configuration allows it to be wired as either "Normally Open" (completes a circuit when hit) or "Normally Closed" (breaks a circuit when hit), providing maximum flexibility for safety interlocks.

Prototyping & Installation Tip

Wiring for 3D Printers & CNC (Pimpri Workshop Standard):

  1. COM (Bottom/Pivot Pin): Connect to your Signal Ground (GND).

  2. NC (Top Pin): Connect to your Limit Switch Input. Note: Using the "Normally Closed" (NC) terminal is a safety standard. If a wire breaks or comes loose, the machine will register a "Triggered" state and stop, preventing a crash.

Mounting Strategy: Ensure the roller is positioned so the moving part hits it tangentially (sliding across the roller) rather than head-on. This preserves the life of the lever arm and provides the most repeatable trigger point for high-precision homing sequences.
