Product Description: The KCD2-203 is a versatile 3-position rocker switch designed for complex circuit management. Featuring a Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) configuration with a centre-off position, it allows the user to switch between two independent circuit states or completely isolate the load in the middle position. This switch is a critical component for the engineering projects at Robogears Pvt Ltd, specifically for manual motor direction control (Forward-Stop-Reverse) and selecting between dual power inputs (e.g., Solar vs. Grid). Its compact KCD2 frame fits perfectly into medium-sized enclosures while handling significant electrical loads.

Prototyping & Installation Tip

Motor Polarity Reversal (H-Bridge Logic): At your Pimpri workshop, this switch is most commonly used to reverse DC motors without a microcontroller.

  1. Connect the Power Supply (+ and -) to the two Center Pins.

  2. Connect the Motor to the two pins at one end.

  3. Cross-wire the end pins to the opposite end pins (Top-Left to Bottom-Right and Top-Right to Bottom-Left). Result: Flipping the switch to "I" makes the motor spin forward; "O" stops it; and "II" reverses the polarity to spin it backward.

Wiring Safety: Given the 6-pin density, always use 4.8mm insulated female spade connectors or ensure that soldered wires are individually protected with 3mm heat-shrink tubing to prevent a short circuit between the poles.
