  • RF Project Secret: If you are building a custom 433MHz or 315MHz wireless transmitter, this battery is your best friend. Most small RF modules require at least 9V to 12V to achieve their maximum advertised range. Using a 27A battery allows you to keep your remote enclosure incredibly small while still hitting those long distances.

  • Current Limitations: Remember that the 27A is designed for "pulses." It has a very low capacity (~20mAh). Do not use this to power a microcontroller (like an Arduino) or a motor directly; the high internal resistance will cause the voltage to collapse immediately under continuous load.

  • The "Stack" Inside: If you ever carefully open a 27A battery (not recommended!), you will see it actually contains 8 tiny 1.5V button cells stacked together to reach 12V. This is why it is so powerful yet has low capacity.

  • Polarity Warning: In small remote housings, the spring is almost always the Negative (-) terminal. Ensure the battery is seated firmly, as these small cells can sometimes shift during heavy use or drops.
