The Pairing Secret: If the remote stops working, follow the printed instructions: Reset the D2H box for 17 seconds, wait for the screen prompt, then hold the Star (*) key for 7 seconds followed by the OK key. This re-establishes the 2.4GHz handshake.
RF vs. IR Testing: To verify if the RF is working versus the IR, try covering the front of the remote with your hand. If it still changes channels, the RF pairing is successful. If not, it is operating in fallback IR mode.
Interference Check: Since RF operates on the 2.4GHz band, it can occasionally face interference from high-powered Wi-Fi routers placed directly next to the STB. For best results, keep your router at least 2-3 feet away from the set-top box.
