• Calculating Ratios: To find your reduction ratio, divide the number of teeth on the "driven" gear by the teeth on the "driving" gear. For example, using the 6T pinion to drive the 56T gear gives you a nearly 9.3:1 reduction, significantly increasing your motor's lifting power.
