• The "2025" Meaning: In the coin cell naming convention, "20" stands for the 20mm diameter, and "25" stands for the 2.5mm height. If your battery holder is designed for a CR2032 (3.2mm thick), a CR2025 might fit but could have a loose connection. Always use the specific battery height intended for your holder.

• Slim-Line IR Remotes: Most slim IR remote controls used for home automation or RC projects use the CR2025 to keep the remote's thickness under 10mm. If your remote stops working at a distance, replacing the CR2025 is usually the first step.
