  • Heat Scaling: Because the temperature is controlled by voltage, start your work at 6V–8V and gradually increase it. Using the full 12V constantly for small tasks can wear out the micro-heating element faster than intended.

  • SMD Best Practice: When soldering tiny resistors at your Pimpri facility, use solder paste or very thin solder wire (0.5mm). The micro-bit doesn't hold a large thermal mass, so using thick solder wire will cause the tip to cool down instantly.

  • Tip Maintenance: Never use an abrasive sponge on this micro-tip. Use a soft, damp cellulose sponge or a dedicated brass wire cleaner. Keeping the tip "tinned" with a tiny amount of solder is crucial for heat transfer.
