Product Description
The ZMPT101B AC Voltage Sensor Module is a high-precision, single-phase voltage transformer designed for monitoring and measuring AC mains voltage. Unlike resistive dividers, this module uses a galvanic isolation transformer, providing a safety barrier of up to 4000V between the high-voltage AC line and your low-voltage microcontroller. It features an on-board multi-turn potentiometer to calibrate the output signal amplitude, converting a 250V AC input into a safe, low-voltage analog sine wave that can be sampled by an Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi. This makes it an essential component for DIY smart energy meters, voltage stabilizers, and power quality monitoring systems.
Key Features
Galvanic Isolation: High-quality ZMPT101B transformer provides physical isolation, protecting microcontrollers from high-voltage AC surges.
On-board Precision OP-AMP: Includes a signal conditioning circuit to amplify and offset the sine wave for accurate ADC sampling.
Wide Measuring Range: Capable of detecting AC voltages from 0V up to 250V, covering standard 110V and 230V mains.
Adjustable Gain: Features a multi-turn trimmer potentiometer to fine-tune the output voltage range to match your ADC’s resolution.
Analog Sine Wave Output: Provides a real-time wave image, allowing for the calculation of RMS voltage, peak-to-peak voltage, and power factor.
