The CA-3316A stands out by offering onboard potentiometers for both master volume and frequency adjustment. The frequency control allows you to set the "crossover" point, determining exactly which low-end frequencies are sent to your subwoofer. With a wide voltage input range and Class D efficiency, it generates very little heat even during sustained high-volume playback.

Power Supply Selection: For maximum 100W output, use a 24V 5A power supply. If you use a 12V supply, the power output will be limited to approximately 20-30W.
Heat Dissipation: Although Class D is efficient, the onboard heatsink can get hot during continuous high-load operation. Ensure your enclosure has adequate ventilation to prevent thermal throttling.
Speaker Matching: To get the most "punch" from this amplifier, use a dedicated subwoofer driver rather than a full-range speaker. Ensure the speaker's wattage rating is at least 20% higher than the amplifier's output to prevent damage.
Signal Quality: Use shielded audio cables for the input signal. Because this amplifier handles low frequencies, any 50Hz/60Hz hum from nearby AC power lines can be easily picked up and amplified by the subwoofer.
