Prototyping & Engineering Tips (Robogears Exclusive)

• Diagnosis Tip: If your Samsung TV turns on and you hear sound, but the screen remains dark (or shows the logo for a split second before going black), it is a classic sign that one or more LEDs have failed in the backlight array.

• Replacement Protocol: We strongly recommend replacing all 3 strips at once. Since all LEDs in an array share the same runtime, replacing only the "burnt" strip often leads to the remaining old strips failing shortly after the repair.

• Thermal Bonding: Before sticking the new strips into the chassis at your Pimpri workshop, ensure the metal surface is perfectly clean. Use high-quality thermal double-sided tape to ensure the aluminium strip makes perfect contact for cooling.

• Safety Warning: TV repair involves handling high-voltage boards and fragile LCD glass. Always use screen suction cups and ensure you are working in a dust-free environment to avoid spots on the internal diffusers.
