  • Pre-Flight Check: At our Pimpri facility, we always remind makers: Adjust and measure the output voltage using a multimeter BEFORE connecting it to your electronics. The potentiometer can be sensitive; a small turn can change the voltage significantly.

  • Heat Management: While the module is rated for 3A peak, it is best to stay under 1.8A for continuous use. If the module feels hot to the touch, you are nearing its thermal limit and should reduce the load or increase airflow.

  • Input-Output Gap: To ensure stable regulation, the input voltage must be at least 1.5V higher than the desired output voltage.

  • Soldering Tip: Because the pads are very small and close to the edge, use a fine-tip soldering iron and high-quality flux to avoid accidental bridges between the input and output tracks.
