The TEC1-12706 Peltier Module is a high-performance cooling component constructed from high-quality bismuth telluride semiconductor material. It consists of 127 tiny thermocouples sandwiched between two high-purity Alumina ($Al_2O_3$) ceramic plates. Because it is a reversible device, reversing the polarity of the DC input will flip the cold and hot sides, allowing for both heating and cooling applications in a single package. Its thin profile and silent operation make it ideal for space-constrained environments where traditional compressor-based cooling is impractical.
