  • ESC Calibration: This tool is perfect for calibrating the throttle range of new ESCs. Connect the ESC to the tester, set it to max pulse, power on the ESC, and then move to the minimum pulse to set your endpoints.

  • Neutral Setting: Before mounting a servo into a robotic arm or steering linkage, use the "Neutral" mode to center the motor. This prevents mechanical binding and ensures equal travel in both directions.

  • Power Supply: Ensure you provide a stable 5V source. If testing high-torque servos, use a 5V 2A adapter; powering the tester from a weak battery while multiple servos are attached can cause the device to reset due to voltage drops.

  • Compatibility: While designed for standard RC servos, this tester works with any PWM-controlled actuator. It is a great way to manually test the movement of a 180° or 270° servo before writing any Arduino code.
