Mandrel Installation: When mounting a blade, ensure the arrow on the blade matches the rotation direction of your tool. Tighten the center screw firmly, and ensure the mandrel is inserted as far into the tool's chuck as possible to prevent vibration.
Control Your Speed: For plastics and PVC, use a lower RPM setting. If the speed is too high, the friction will melt the plastic rather than cutting it, which can gum up the blade teeth.
Soft Metals Only: While these blades can cut aluminum and copper, do not attempt to cut steel, iron, or stone. Hard materials will instantly dull the HSS teeth and could cause the thin blade to shatter.
Lubrication: When cutting thin aluminum, a tiny amount of cutting oil or WD-40 on the blade will prevent the soft metal from sticking to the teeth, resulting in a much cleaner edge.
