• The "Waste Material" Trick: CRITICAL: When cutting circles in thin materials like paper or vinyl, always place a "sacrificial" piece of cardboard or a cutting mat underneath. This protects your tabletop and ensures the center needle has a firm grip, preventing the tool from slipping mid-cut.

• Multiple Passes: For thicker materials like 2mm rubber or heavy gasket sheets, do not try to cut all the way through in one rotation. Apply light pressure and complete 3 or 4 rotations; this prevents the material from "bunching up" or tearing.

• Protecting the Center: If you are cutting a circle and do not want a needle hole in the middle of your project, place a small piece of Reinforcement Tape or a plastic washer at the center point before placing the needle.

• Blade Maintenance: If you notice the edges of your cut becoming "fuzzy," the blade is dull. Use one of the 3 included replacement blades immediately. A dull blade requires more pressure, which increases the risk of the tool slipping and causing injury.

• Radius vs. Diameter: Remember that the scale on the arm usually measures the Radius. To cut a 100mm (10cm) circle, you must set the slider to the 50mm mark. Always double-check your measurement with a ruler before making the final cut.
