It is the standard replacement battery for laptop BIOS/CMOS settings, industrial PC motherboards, and compact medical devices. The wired design allows the battery to be tucked away in tight corners or taped to the side of a chassis, making it ideal for space-constrained electronics.

  • Polarity Verification: Before plugging this into your motherboard or controller, always verify the wire colors. Red is typically Positive (+) and Black is Negative (-). While JST connectors are keyed, some laptop manufacturers use a reversed pinout.

  • Mounting Tip: Since this battery is encased in heat-shrink, you can easily secure it to the inside of your project box using double-sided foam tape or a small dab of hot glue.
