Product Description: The 130 DC Motor is the universal standard for hobbyist electronics, school science models, and basic robotics. Known for its compact rectangular "bread-loaf" shape, this motor is designed for high-speed rotation and ease of use. Its flat sides make it exceptionally easy to mount using double-sided tape or simple plastic brackets, making it the go-to choice for beginners and students entering the world of electronics.

Soldering Advice: The rear terminals are thin metal tabs. Use a low-temperature solder setting and work quickly; excessive heat can melt the plastic end-cap and cause the internal brushes to shift out of alignment.
Battery Pairing: For school projects, a 2x AA battery holder (3V) provides a safe and steady speed. For maximum power, a 4x AA holder (6V) will push the motor to its peak RPM, but keep an eye on heat levels.
Avoiding Stall: Because this motor has low torque, it can stall easily if the load is too heavy. If the motor stops but is still powered, it will draw high current and heat up quickly. Always ensure your gear ratios or wheels are lightweight.
Noise Suppression: If using this motor with an Arduino or microcontroller, solder a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor across the motor terminals to reduce electrical noise that could interfere with your sensors.
