  • Daylight Task Lighting: The cool white color temperature is ideal for workstations or internal lighting for mobile robots where high-contrast visibility is needed to identify components.

  • Powering the Roll: For a full 5-meter roll, we recommend a 12V 5A power supply. For shorter lengths, calculate roughly 1A per meter of strip to ensure the LEDs operate at peak brightness.

  • Heat Dissipation: To maximize the lifespan of the 4040 chips, mount the strip on a metallic surface (like an aluminum bracket). This helps pull heat away from the PCB.

  • Precision Control: These strips are fully dimmable. Use a Logic-Level MOSFET (like the IRFZ44N) with your microcontroller’s PWM pin to adjust the light intensity from 0% to 100%.
