Product Description
The TSOP1738 IR Receiver is designed to provide high immunity against ambient light and spurious pulses from energy-saving lamps (like CFLs). The internal circuit includes an automatic gain control (AGC), a bandpass filter, and a demodulator. When it receives a 38kHz IR signal, it strips away the carrier frequency and outputs the raw data bits as a digital signal. Because it is "Active Low," the output pin stays HIGH when idle and pulses LOW when a signal is detected, making it directly compatible with the digital input pins of Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
