• Panel Compatibility: Before connecting your 2.4-inch screen, verify the pinout of the FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) connector. While this board is "Universal," some display manufacturers swap the Power and Ground pins, which can lead to permanent damage if not checked.

• IR Sensor Placement: For the best remote control range, mount the IR receiver behind a transparent or semi-transparent red window. Avoid placing it directly under bright fluorescent lights, as the "flicker" from the lights can interfere with the infrared signal.

• Voltage Regulation: While the board supports 5V, if you are powering it from a noisy source (like a cheap switching adapter), add a 100uF Electrolytic Capacitor across the power input leads to prevent display "jitter" or white noise.

• Button PCB Mounting: When installing the side-fitting buttons, ensure the tactile switches are perfectly aligned with your enclosure's physical buttons. Even a 1mm misalignment can lead to "sticky" buttons or a lack of tactile feedback.

• Firmware Note: These boards are usually pre-loaded with standard UI firmware. If the screen appears inverted or colors are swapped, it is often a software setting rather than a hardware fault. Check the documentation for "Service Menu" codes to adjust screen orientation.
